Not a trace. This alone is a sign of how well the system works.The faucet looks great and works perfectly, and the tank provides more than enough water for our daily use. REF; RCC7AK 6 STAGE RO SYSTEM:Firstly, I would like to say that the customer service at iSpring is exceptional - Francis to be specific.I had a very minor issue that did not scare me away from this product nor create any annoyance re. installation. Francis quickly contacted and helped rectify a very minor issue I had, following up with me to try and rectify the issue asap - thank you Francis!Packaging & instructions/fitting:The box arrived well packed and packed so well that I would not expect damage during transit. Each item was in its own box and had very little movement. The items came out of the box easily and had no damage. Well packed.The instructions for the assembly and fitment were very detailed. If self-fitting this unit, you probably have some kind of idea about what you are doing so you may not need to use the instructions as gospel, but they do provide a very well detailed and easy to follow assembly instruction. The flow diagram was welcomed too. A nice quick reference guide to hosing. This helped me more than the instructions - I find visual instruction easier than detailed description instruction. Whether you work in fluid engineering or fancy the DIY challenge, the instructions supplied will certainly allow you to install with ease. It took me about an hour to install and commission/leak check.The unit (although it looks rather large) fits very easily inside of my 900mm wide cupboard. It even allows for space around the filtration unit and the reservoir for placing filter spares etc. It certainly surprised me with how well the unit fits inside of my cupboard. I expected to assemble it, offer it up to the cupboard only to find it was too large to fit and then need to send it back… but I could fit two RCC7AK 6 Stage systems inside of my cupboard. Perhaps it opens scope to add further filters elements onto this system in the future…Filters are easy to change. This unit comes with a filter housing removal tool to provide leverage on the housing. Install the filtration system above the base of your unit to allow ease of filter change.There is a detailed commissioning instruction near the end of the instruction so please do follow this for the correct initial start-up procedure to purge the pre-osmosis filters (ensuring you do not put carbon deposits into the RO (reverse osmosis) membrane.Supplied parts:During assembly, I happened to think to myself 'a 90 elbow fitting would be perfect here'... they had thought of that and supplied multiple fittings! More than I needed. The length of piping was perfect. I used about half of what was provided - even with a drain line that extended far down the waste pipe into the next cupboard (install horizontal and away from the u-bend trap to eliminate a dripping noise and potential backing up of sink waste into the drain-line in the event of blockage). All parts supplied fitted my standard UK kitchen (15mm comp / 1/2" BSPP) but I did use some PTFE between the threads just to seal them as the thread form is NPT and my kitchen is BSP (thread angles are slightly different and therefore do not mate perfectly). I have had no leaks in the week I have had fitted.Taste/Testing:The taste is incredible. It tastes pure and clean. No tang or bitterness. It tastes purer than the purest bottled water I have tasted. I will now avoid drinking water that has not been through my RO system. Bottled water at a push! I have (glass) bottles stored in the fridge filled with my RO water. Bottled water is nice... but iSpring RO water is second to none. I agree with another review here that I fill my bottle with this water and take it everywhere I go.See the images for the testing. I believe that these images speak for themselves. Obviously, the RO water cannot be TDS free due to the remineralisation process but down to 47PPM from 435PPM is an incredible job and there is a clear difference in the ‘clean’ taste even between RO water and bottled water. This is evidence enough that the water is truly forced through the osmosis filter.Alkalinity of this water is slightly higher (TAP is 7.66pH, BOTTLED is 8.70pH *Sometimes artificially raised using Bicarbonate of soda, RCC7AK RO is 9.72pH). Yes, I did calibrate my pH meter prior to use! I am yet to perform some detailed research into the difference a higher pH water provides but brief research suggests that it is easier for the body to consume. I will take higher pH being better for the body at face value at this point for this review.Overview:I would suggest that this unit is installed in every home for the sake of reducing the number of chemicals that are consumed through water. At the very least, bottled water should be consumed. Avoid tap water! For the small cost (yes, the cost of this unit is relatively low) this unit is 100% worth purchasing. Fitting is easy, it comes with a nice outlet for the water, water tastes incredible, and the customer service is outstanding. Every home should be fitting one of these units. And whilst you are at it... consider stopping using fluoride containing products such as toothpaste and mouthwash. Use fluoride-free alternatives. I have personally noticed positive differences with regard to dental/mental health.BUY the iSpring RCC7AK! – I was not provided any incentive to leave this review. Esta conectado de acuerdo al manual, pero se tira agua por el drenaje aun cuando el tanque esta lleno y no se este usando agua filtrada. Es normal o hay un problema. Díganme que puntos debo revisar

Seamos honestos, el agua embotellada es la estafa más grande del siglo XXI. México ocupa el 2do lugar que más consume agua embotellada y además del enorme margen de costo, el consumo de plásticos de un solo uso (y también microplásticos) es terrible para el medio ambiente y nuestra salud.Este sistema de ósmosis es de 7 etapas e incluye una bomba. Esto es importante porque la membrana necesita una presión alta para poder trabajar correctamente. El paquete incluye todo los que necesitas para su instalación (excepto las herramientas) y honestamente no es complicado, probablemente lo más difícil es hacer el agujero para el monomando. Hasta el momento me ha funcionado muy bien, los materiales se ven de buena calidad y los instructivos explican correctamente la instalación. Definitivamente recomendado.

Ordené el sistema de filtración de agua por ósmosis inversa modelo RCC7AK de Amazon.com.mx para purificar nuestra agua potable aquí en México. Me sorprendió gratamente cuando el sistema llegó aquí en solo tres días. Esto es un gran problema aquí en México, nuestra agua del grifo suele tener alrededor de 400 ppm de TDS (sólidos disueltos totales). Después de la purificación, nuestra agua potable sale con alrededor de 35 a 40 ppm de TDS. Además, nuestro servicio de entrega era algo poco confiable, a veces no cumplía con su horario.En México, la mayoría de las casas y apartamentos tienen tanques de agua instalados en el techo. Se alimentan por gravedad y, por lo tanto, la presión de entrada de agua es de solo 15 psi. Por lo tanto, actualicé la unidad para incluir una bomba de aumento de presión y un esterilizador de luz ultravioleta. La bomba es virtualmente silenciosa. Estoy en México y compré este sistema de purificación, vino con una falla en una de las válvulas. Me comuniqué por correo al servicio de ispring y me mandaron repuesto de todas las válvulas e incluso me regalaron un filtro por la molestia.No hay soporte técnico en México, solo en USA y es por correo, porque no responden el teléfono. Solo responden un correo al día aunque les mandes varios.La falla que presentó mi sistema, la detecté yo y fue después de hacer muchas pruebas, incluso usé un multimetro. El soporte que me dieron fue básico, prácticamente les comenté del error y les dije cuál creía que era la falla y ellos no me preguntaron más y mandaron el reemplazo de las piezas.Si se necesita conocimiento técnico para poder reemplazar las válvulas y ellos solo me dijeron avísame cuando la instales, yo me las arregle para hacerlo.Iba a calificar mal el producto por la mala experiencia, pero llevo 2 semanas con el sistema trabajando y la verdad es que me encanta. El agua sabe muy bien, el motor es silencioso, si tienes baja o alta presión no importa porque la bomba viene con válvulas que regulan la presión. El agua del grifo sale a muy buena presión y pues ya fuera de la falla técnica que tuve, estoy muy contento con el producto. Se me hace de excelente calidad y por eso le doy 5 estrellas.También debo mencionar que iba a devolver el producto y el vendedor me aprobó la devolución, no lo devolví porque realmente quería probar este producto y el servicio de ispring me mandó los reemplazos, que tardaron como una semana en llegar. Así que al final cancelé la devolución y me quedé con el producto ya arreglado.Lo recomiendo pero te arriesgas a que si tiene una falla debes de contratar un técnico para que te ayude a verificar la falla e incluso para que instale los reemplazos.

Ya tengo un equipo en California marca GE. Este es superior! Y con agregado de alcalinidad! El sabor del agua es excelente.

El sistema fue facil de instalar y sirve muy bien. He dejado de comprar garaffones.Ojo, si necesita presion, tengo un hidromatico y me sirve muy bien este equipo. Tambien cuidado con las instruciones de primer uso (que solo venian en ingles). El filtro del carbono si suelta mucho polvo negro cuando esta recien instalado, mejor que esto no pasa por la membrana de osmosis inversa y que no llegue al tanque.

I purchased this 7 stage (iSpring RCC7AK-UV) to help with a well problem on a property we recently purchased in back country of Maine.Water testing on the well revealed dirt bacteria, which wasn't resolved with a proper shock of the well, and the mineral content and other things were not quite right. The result was the water was safe to drink, but cloudy, off tasting and likely to be drank by anyone that saw it. So after researching, talking to experts, and consulting water and well drilling companies, it was decided that likely I have a cracked casing, or a shallow well. Both of which need to be fixed at some point int the future, but were not eminent catastrophic problems, or preventing us from living there.Since it was only drinking of the plain water that was a concern, we decided to focus on a single tap/sink/faucet filtering system. There was no question about which to buy. iSpring has perfected the right unit that has a complete system all in one, that is east to install with great instructions, videos available and even extremely knowledgeable live staff support Monday through Friday. This was essential to the my success with the system.I was told by a local contractor that my pressure was adequate and met the minimum requirements for the ispring system, so I went ahead and ordered the system without the booster pump. I decided to install the system to provide water to the refrigerator ice/cold water dispenser. Perfect for that application since it can handle up to 75 gals per day, which we will never reach as a family of three. My problem turned out to be the fact that the pressure was not adequate, and I was miss-led by a local well company telling me what my head pressure was. I called ispring support in hopes they could advise me on a solution, assuming I would have to go find a booster pump and pressure switches to adapt to the system. To my surprise, they had a much different solution.The reps name was Josh, and if you get a chance to speak with him, you will be taken care of with the best of customer service. He was quick to understand my situation, and rather than focus on my issue of not knowing my system and buying the wrong product, he quickly offered a solution where ispring would ship me a whole new head assembly, including the booster bum and pressure switches already built in to boost our water pressure, and would ship for free second day if I just paid the difference of ($90 in my case) for the upgraded head. I immediately took him up on the offer and sure enough in two days I received the whole new head ready to be installed. I moved overt he filters, and the last two stages (6/7) to make it complete.It was up and running within an hour and after following the proper stat up procedure to clear the lines/filters, the water it produced was crystal clear, no discernible taste and was comparable to a product we always choose if in a bottle, "Poland Springs" out of Maine. I even received follow ups from Josh to make sure that it was working and that I was completely satisfied with the product. Not only 5 stars for the product, but for the customer service. Well done all the way around. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone, heck I already recommended it to a friend that has a camp in the mountains.

I am not sure if I can find the right words to express how fantastic experience I have had with iSpring exceptional customer service! But let's start from the beginning (not from Adam and Eve though, do not worry! LOL).Why I have bought a water filter.Most people do not know that the mineral water sold in plastic bottles is not healthy at all. There are 7 types of plastics and plastic containers are marked with a triangle of three "chasing arrows", which encloses a number giving the plastic type. The plastics which are typically used to hold water but also soft drinks, juice, sports drinks, beer, mouthwash, ketchup, and salad dressing are made from a plastic marked as number 1. That indicates that those containers are made of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET). Although that plastic is considered to be safe, it contains antimony, a metalloid element with toxic qualities, which leaches from PET. The rate of leakage increases with temperature and can yield unhealthy levels in bottles stored in higher temperature. Antimony can cause acute and chronic health issues, such as diarrhoea, vomiting, and stomach ulcers. Brominated compounds can also leach into PET bottles. They can irritate the skin, mucous membranes, and tissues. If you bear in mind that even though the levels of toxins leached from PET could be considered as on a safe level, they may accumulate in your system over a period of time becoming a serious health risk. It cleans your water from everything you need for a good price. I was not sure if I should order the system with or without the booster pump. I live in a big city and I thought the city water pressure should be strong enough to work with the system so I decided to go for the one without the booster pump.My buying experience.The order arrived quickly and before I even started installing the system, I received an e-mail from iSpring to thank for the purchase and to say that if the Feed Water Adapter (AFW) that taps into the cold water line did not fit my plumbing specifications, they would fully refund (shipping included) for the order of the AFWs that I needed. They included two links to AFWs which I could choose from. Once I ordered the AFW, I e-mailed iSpring customer service and almost instantly I was issued the full refund for my order!My installation experience.The installation of the system was easy. The package contained a very easy instruction with colour photos leading you through all the steps of the process. If you do everything as the instruction manual says, you will be fine. I did not have any problem at all, no leakage whatsoever.My surprise.Everything was fine but I noticed that my water tank stored only 2-2.5 litres of water. I wanted to use filtered water not only for drinking and cooking but also for washing fruits and vegetables and that volume of water was not acceptable for me.My contact with the customers service.I e-mailed customer service and they replied very quickly giving me a short check list. It was very easy to follow the instruction and give the system a check. The whole process took a couple of minutes. Further instructions made us come to a conclusion that my water pressure was below 45 psi and that was a problem. I needed a system with a booster pump. I was too optimistic thinking that my city water should be fine and I did not need the booster pump. Once we identified the problem, the iSpring customer service came with a solution. To make it easier for me and avoid possibly a bit complicated installation of the booster pump and its components on my existing system, they offered ordering a machine head with a booster pump factory installed. And here comes the best! As they understood that the water storage was of great inconvenience to me, they reduced the price of the machine head from 90 to 50 dollars! Since it had to be shipped from iSpring office in the United States, not the shop in the United Kingdom, where I live, that would generate some extra costs of shipping and the import tax. iSpring customer service offered me splitting the costs of shipping and the import tax!Solving the problem.My problem was solved. After installation the machine head with booster pump, the tank stores about 10 litres of water and that is what I need! I can hardly hear the pump working. The water pressure is very good and the tank fills up very quickly. The water tastes fantastic, much better than bottled water, no plastic aftertaste.My final thoughts.What else would you want from a customer service?! They could not do anything more or better! They are exceptionally kind, understanding, efficient, and professional! I highly recommend iSpring water to everybody. They are like a good friend, who is always around when you need them. I was very lucky having chosen iSpring and their product.
