This is a really fun pen, it’s big in the hand yet strangely comfortable and the #8 tip is nice (I have Fine).

This is a nice pen. It felt a little scratchy writing with it when I first got it but it seems to be getting a bit better with use. This is a really big pen. The barrel is over 5/8" (6.5mm). I couldn't even fit the nib end into one of my smaller 30ml ink bottles deep enough to fill it. I had to remove the ink converter and put that into the ink bottle to fill it and then force some ink back through the nib to get it flowing. That actually worked well but it was a bit of a learning curve figuring it out. Rinse it out before filling; there was a bit of black ink in the water when I flushed it out. I'm assuming it is tested at the factory. It looks nice - I went with the clear body and it's interesting to see all the parts. You know at a glance when it's getting low on ink. It is a good value.

This pen is big and thick. It has a big feel in the hand. Being transparent, it is nifty to see the inside of the pen (and useful to see the amount of ink you have left.) The inner workings are cool and there is lots of gold trim.. The nib is huge. It is all good stuff if your goal is to show the world what a fancy pen you have.If your goal is to write, that is hard. that giant nib is very finicky. Hold it 15 degrees off of the right angle and it will stop writing. If I hold it in just the right angle, it writes well enough. It even feels quite smooth, but you have to hold it just right.I find the screw-off cap a hassle, too.

For the price, it is an exceptionally good pen. Nice writer. I am happy with it.
