This product is high quality and easy to install. My only concern is the new screws that came in the box were too small. Luckily I had some screws in my toolbox that worked better. All in all a good replacement part.

I had to replace two doors and it worked great, i didn’t have to do anything, take the old lair out and install the new one

I installed these today. I drilled a 3/4 inch hole straight down in the top of the door. about 2/3 inch deep. I didn't carve out where the plates attach, but it still looks pretty good. Close and open the door a few times it leaves a mark on the door jam so you know where to install the strike plate.After installing the ball and spring in the door I drilled the hole in the door jam using the 3/4 inch bit and wiggled it to the left and right to get it ablong. All this might sound messy, but it gets covered by the strike plate.So far, they are working great. And they are easily adjustable up and down by turning the ball and spring housing. Great for keeping double doors closed but not locked.

Overall, it works as advertised, very smooth. Only con is the feeling I got while adjusting/installing it, it felt like it will go off setting after a while. A little more resistance in the thread or mayby a locking nut would be à good idea.
