Initially it wouldn't fit, but I just was not used to how snug it was.I checked the size and its just a little different in dimensions. However, as some had said in reviews, this seems to work better and more snug than the previous/original. Hope it lasts.Almost put the pump aside for a new one. But, this got it working. There was an air leak and it just would not get going. thanks and thanks to the prior reviews.

I wondered why my pool filter was making the return water into pool full of bubbles. Imagine my surprise when I noticed that the pump filter basket was leaking. I then noticed a tiny crack in the clear top. Finding a replacement was made easy because the description listed the exact measurements of the old top. The item came extremely quick along with a brand new rubber O ring (which was a plus) at a really good price. I think the pool store would have charged double for the exact same item minus the O ring.

Embonó bien y el material se ve y siente resistente. Hace un poco más de un mes que lo instalé en el filtro el cual está en intemperie y se ve como nuevo.

I like it better than the original hayward cover. More meat to it and it's clear so you can actually see inside the pump

Not Hayward quility ,so far works great.Amazon seller price less than 1/2 many other sellers ,use lots of silicon grease.I rigged up cover remover to take some pressure of the handle. 5* delivery.
