Se debe verificar el código de la llave, para q coincida con la original, para q se pueda programar

Worked first try with Autel OBD programmer ... less quality feel compared to original but works just as well. All keys worked like they should ... only thing i didnt check is remote start from a great distance.

This key fob has worked great for over one year. I’ve also change the battery right from the start and the interior is better quality then the key fob from ford.

I purchased this key fob due to the price and the seller stated it was correct fob for my year, make, model. I took it to several locksmiths who could not program it. So I finally made an appt and took it into the dealer for programming as advised by locksmith. Dealer tried several times and said frequency was not compatible with my car. I ended up having to purchase another key fob and it programmed just fine. I explained all of this to seller but by this time it was past the allowed return time. They basically said sorry but too bad you are SOL. Just a warning to others, if you purchase this fob, try to get it programmed asap or you may not be able to return it for your money back. Even if it was not compatible with your vehicle in the first place.

The only difference between the original fob and this one is the blank spot for the automobile logo. One thing to remember though, the dealer will be reluctant to program it for you because they didn't sell it to you. I took mine to a shop that offered to program it for approximately $40 as opposed to $100 with the dealer (with no guarantee).It works like a charm and so now, my wife and I have a personal fob for the car. Overall cost was about what the dealer wanted only to do the programming.
