Was having trouble with the original extruder on my Ender 3 V3 S1. Replaced it with this extruder. So far, a couple of short test prints and a 21 hour print later, flawless. Would highly recommend.

It came in well packaged and had no damage. The box is really good quality with magnetic snaps and all paper construction. The extruder is really easy to install and swap. The wiring is made so much cleaner and upgrading and moding fans, CR Touch, ect is a breeze. No more running wires to the motherboard. The lightweight construction works great with the stock stepper motor. The print quality improved thanks to the direct drive and high quality hotend. Overall I am very happy with the purchase.

I'm sure it works as stated, but I wouldn't know. Read more carefully than me. It's not a deal, it's just a sprite with no mounting bracket, wires, etc.

This works well and I am happy with the purchase. It is easy to install and works well. However, some of the negative reviews were expecting a drop-in solution. Do not expect that. Like any upgrade for an Ender 3 printer, you have to look at both the physical aspects and the configuration (in slicing and firmware). That can take time to dial in and tweak. This changes you printer's configuration. The nozzle is not going to be in the exact same height (or x/y location?), which means you will need to be careful you do not smash the nozzle into the bed. If you have a bed-leveling probe (like a BL touch or CR touch), then that is not going to be in the same location with the same offsets. That means you need to change probe offset settings (and I don't remember if they can be changed in the menus of the stock firmware on Ender 3's). If you have already loaded custom firmware that lets you change probe offset settings, or are familiar with tweaking those settings in the code and recompiling the firmware yourself, you will be in a better position to use this. Also, this is a direct drive extruder with an all metal hot-end. That means your previous slicer profiles for bowden-tube Ender 3's are going to need to be modified, if not completely scrapped.I'm happy with this upgrade for my Ender 3 v2, but like pretty much every upgrade for this type of printer, it takes time. If you don't want to do that, save your money and buy a newer printer, like one from Bambu lab.

Depending on your setup, it may not be a "drop in" replacement, but it's pretty close. I love that it's all on one cable, but the wires on the board end are pretty finicky. Additionally, there are a few connectors that are not labeled at all and not mentioned in the manual. No clue what they're for, which is disappointing for me, since it could help with other setups for its purpose. My BLTouch does not work with the on board connectors. I had to wire it separately, and I'm probably just gonna get a CRTouch, which is what this officially supports.Even though the probe mount is in a known and fixed position, there's nothing in the manual that tells you what to set the offset to. This would be useful for people like me who does not have a stock motherboard on their printer. It's weird that they don't tell you this, cause it tells you the Esteps/mm in the manual.Overall, the product itself is good, but as always the manual is not very good.
