I am quite disappointed with this pen; the ink does not flow at all. I have tried all the troubleshooting tips, but there is still no ink flow. Unfortunately, I am unable to return it as I put it away until my birthday and only opened it after the return date had passed.

The pen arrived *not* in its protective Lamy package. I’m guessing it was taken off a retail floor and thrown in a small bubble mailer with the collapsed protective box in a baggy. Has minor scrapes on finish which leads me to believe it was in a store, open. Pen writes beautifully though. But I will avoid the retailer.

usually i use waterman fountain pen and sheffer didn't expect such worst build quality with the big brand, also so fat to hold not preferable
