This switch works greatTaking the washer apart was challengingThe YouTube video was wrongYou have to remove screws from the back and the skid back and up. It was not easyAlso putting it back together needs 3 people which is not easy in a laundry roomThe actual replacement was very easyI recommend it

Needed to replace the door lock on my WT7600HWA washer. Fit and works perfectly. Be sure to do research on how to access this; the rear of the top lifts and the entire top scoots forward and off. FWIW, I'm a large guy and this should've been a two-person job as there's no support for the top (it doesn't lift up like a car hood).

Admittedly, I'm still on my first load of wash after installing this but it was a perfect replacement from the faulty lock. It was easy to install (thanks to a youtube video [...] and I saved at least $100 from a service call. Actually when I called LG to set up a repair guy to come to the house, the cheapest option was $268. Easy to replace and it works like it did when it was new.The reason for the replacement was that our machine kept making the dreaded "click, click, click" sound due to a fault door lock. I messed around trying to fix the original lock but wasn't successful. This worked like a charm.
