This is a terrible setup. It’s great when it works but often your kicked off the app, have to close out and reopen and it still won’t connect. Randomly cuts the sound off and won’t load so you have no idea if your baby is crying or awake. Having only the app as an option to view the child then means you have to add babysitters and family members to the account and then they have camera access from any where. Would never recommend this to anyone.

I was impressed from the moment I opened the box! The packaging was sleek and the monitor came with everything you need to set it up right away. I did have a tough time connecting to WiFi initially but their customer service was super quick and efficient and resolved the problem super fast! I love that the monitor plays soothing sounds so we don’t need to invest in a separate sound machine and the sleep tracking and breathing monitoring gives me such peace of mind having a premature baby who spent a month in the NICU with breathing problems. The picture quality is amazing (even in the dark) and I love that both my husband and I can login from anywhere on our phones and don’t need to carry around a bulky monitor! My only regret is not finding this monitor sooner!!

The Miku smart monitor has been one of the best investments for my family. I knew I wanted a smart, breathing-detecting monitor for my baby to help put me at ease and ensure my little one was safe at all times. I was overwhelmed by all the choices but am so glad I chose this one. This monitor shows real-time breathing and it’s absolutely incredible. I can see my baby’s breathing right from my phone from anywhere.It works flawlessly no matter what—whether my baby is wrapped in a swaddle, under a blanket, or surrounded by stuffed animals.I’ve also set up custom alerts to my phone, so I know immediately if something changes. Those alerts have been such a comfort during naps and nighttime sleep because I know baby is safe, even when I’m sleeping myself.Why I choose Miku: it works from newborn to toddler and beyond. It does not require any wearables or sleep swaddles for breathing detection, making my life easier and helping the monitor last us for years. I’ve been recommending this to my family and friends as the monitor to get for their baby too!It comes with everything you need to set up no cords visible and can be attached to wall or use a floor stand to put over a bassinet anywhere.

This is the smartest baby monitor I have ever seen! I love the breathing and activity tracking and the fact that it doesn’t require a wearable sock etc makes it that much more impressive. Setup was incredibly easy, everything you need including tools come in your box! The design is sleek and modern, and looks great in my daughter’s room. I love that I can go back and watch activity from a previous night and learn more about my daughter’s sleep patterns. Your information is protected and kept private so you don’t need to worry about your videos being shared or monitored being hacked. Please know that there is a monthly subscription to access all the functions, but I think it is absolutely worth it.

From the packaging to the display and functionality, this baby monitor is truly incredible and gives me such peace of mind.Opening the package was super refreshing because it comes with everything you could need to install the monitor properly. The instructions are very clear, and it comes with everything from a measuring tape to a screwdriver to mount the monitor. I also had a very easy time pairing the device with the phone app, and the instructions within the app that walked me through everything were very simple.At first I was using the device simply as a monitor and loved it on its own. The video is clear, the sound is crisp, and you can listen to the sound through your phone without the app needing to be open (and your phone can even be in DND mode so you can hear your baby if they need you in the middle of the night)!When I activated the monthly subscription, I found it to be worth the $9.99/month. It displays my baby's live respirations per minute and aggregates the data so I can see over time if her breathing is remaining consistent or if she may be getting sick. It automatically records video when she moves in the middle of the night so I can look back to see what might have disturbed her, and it provides a sleep score based on how long she is sleeping as well as the efficiency of her sleep.Prior to getting the Miku, I was honestly very anti-WiFi connected monitor because of the perceived security risks, but Miku goes above and beyond to encrypt your data, and I spoke with support to make sure that the data is never shared, only used internally to improve the product.I am expecting another baby in May and will be getting a second unit to maintain this level of peace of mind. Definitely recommend!
