I've got a little DAWless setup I like to use consisting of a Novation Circuit Tracks, two Yamaha Reface synthesizers (Classic CS and FM DX) running into my home audio Yamaha receiver. The receiver has two bookshelf speakers, a center channel speaker, and a powered subwoofer, all from Polk Audio. I plan to add rear channel speakers but I digress!I recently rediscovered a piece of guitar audio gear I had stashed, a Flamma FX100 pedal. It works really nicely with my DAWless setup, but I need more inputs. The Circuit Tracks has two audio inputs, which are taken by the Yamaha synths, and the Tracks has two mono outputs. The FX100 also has single stereo and dual mono outputs, so I have some flexibility. But, I didn't want a large, powerful mixer. One thing I like about my setup is only the FX100 needs to be connected to an external power source; the Tracks has it's own battery, and the Reface synths can be run on AA size batteries. So again, I was loathe to add a piece of gear that needed external power.I searched for passive mixers, but they were either too expensive or too bulky. I came across this and decided to take a chance based on the positive reviews.Well, they steered me well. As other reviewers state, this mixer is very clean in terms of audio throughput. This is why I discussed my audio setup; While my receiver and speakers are not top notch high end units, they are markedly better than the cheap PC speakers I used to use. I do not hear any audio loss, logarithmically or tonally as I run audio through this mixer.Yes, I need an external power source, but it's only 5 volts, and I can use the small battery I use to power the FX100 to also power this mixer if I ever want to go away from AC power. Furthermore, being able to toggle each of this mixer's inputs between TS and TRS (mono and stereo) meets the flexibility of my gear's audio outputs.I do also like the LED accents used when you power this mixer on. Build quality feels pretty solid too; I wouldn't deliberately chuck this mixer down a staircase, but I would confidently put it in a bag with my other gear and trust it to work when I got to my destination. Finally, while I don't plan to really travel with my DAWless setup, I appreciate this mixer's tiny footprint and would appreciate it even more if I ever do travel with it!I haven't had this mixer for long, so I can't speak to this mixer's longevity. But, given it's straightforward construction, I feel confident that this mixer will last for a very long time.

Muy compacto el mezclador, tiene amplificador incluido, está bien construído, se siente sólido. Lo único inconveniente es que se enciende al conectar, no tiene un switch pero por lo demás está excelente tomando en cuenta el precio.

I must have spent several hours trying to hunt down noise gremlins. There is a high-pitched whine that is prevalent in the system. I've tried to isolate everything that is connected and cannot find the culprit outside of the mixer itself. And what is strange is that the noise goes away momentarily, if the audio stops playing from a source (when set to half volume), which would normally tell me it's the source, but it happens to all sources. And anything above half volume, the whine is consistent regardless of source.Of course, if you unplug all sources the noise goes away. But... and this is the big but, when each source is directly connected to my Fosi Amplifier (which is a very clean amplifier), there is no noise from the source. That directly implies the issue with the mixer, so I assume there is some kind of circuit involved that is ducking the signal when a minimal amount is applied from a source. After replacing all of my cables and changing outputs from my laptops, I also tested this mixer with isolated power and a large battery. It made no difference, so the noise is definitely within the circuitry of the mixer itself. If you plan on using this to route any audio for recording... DON'T. You will regret having to figure out how to EQ out those particular offensive frequencies (yes, not just one), as well as some scratchiness in the signal. It's not worth the time or effort.Ultimately, the little mixer works for very simple setups, and it works if you don't need to amplify your signal very much. I would give it a one-star rating, but it was cheap, and it does exactly what it says it does... just not cleanly. But, and I've learned this for myself, it stands that spending a little more money on something of a little higher quality will probably be better. I mean, it's a good-looking little mixer and very simple to use, which both of those reasons are part of why I bought it. But again, I should have been wary of the gimmick of lighting for pizazz and not function, so this little mixer is generally a failure on its part and mine.

Pros: small, rugged, simple, low noise, smooth pot sweep, 5v supply and cable included.Cons: none from a functionality perspective. Note that the low cost means, adequate but simple packaging minimal instructions, only 6.5mm native i/o. No audio cables.I needed an affordable noise free solution to mix four separate audio line outs and set a standard line out. The line out feeds a powered splitter. On the splitter, out 1 goes into powered speakers and out 2 into a Bluetooth transmitter. This mixer works as described. I'd need expensive gear to measure any distortions. Sweet, straight forward audio even for headphone listening.

I ordered this about 6 months ago and as of yesterday, it no longer gets power so it's essentially a big paperweight. It was cheap, but 6 months really isn't a long time. When it did work, it worked exactly as expected. There was some noise when it came to sources with a lot of electronics (My guitar amp plugged in to my computer usb for example), but as long as you're using good quality cables, this shouldn't be an issue. The amp volume is loud and clear even when using all 4 sources. It's just a shame that it only worked for a couple months.
