Salt & Pepper mills come filled. They are a sleek design & most importantly they grind the salt & pepper finely. I think they’re a great value

I got the salt grinder part of this set via the Vine program and have been using it for several weeks.This grinder looks and feels very high quality! The in-hand and countertop photos from this listing are probably the most accurate to real life. I'm a little surprised by how substantial the grinder is. Crystal clear material and a lot of heft to it.It works exactly as I would expect and the grinding mechanism is probably the smoothest I've used, no issues catching or skipping with the salt either fine or coarse.I'm enjoying this one so much, I'm going to order one of the pepper to have a real set.

Product is very good but the measurements on the Cole and Mason website (Amazon) are wrong. I had to return the first purchase as it was smaller than stated. Amazon return system was very good.I then bought the larger size.The wooden base is expensive for what it is but useful to collect the bits that drop from the bottom of the mills

This is a nice sized, well designed, salt grinder! I like the clear lucite and silver tone combination as it looks good in both the kitchen and on the dining table. The salt that came with it was a nice touch, but it would’ve been fine if it came empty as well (I’ve since used the first salt supply and moved on to my Himalayan pink salt). The grinder is easy to use/turn, works great, and it’s simple to adjust the desired size of coarseness. This would make a fantastic addition to your kitchen and table!
