This Mr. Pen mechanical pencil really surprised me. Right out of the box, it feels high quality — the metal body gives it a nice weight and makes it feel way more premium than your average pencil. I use it mostly for sketching and note-taking, and the 0.7mm lead glides smoothly without breaking easily.I also appreciate how comfortable it is to hold, even during long writing or drawing sessions. The grip is just right, not slippery or too bulky. And it looks great! Definitely worth picking one up!

I was excited to get my Mr. Pen mechanical pencil after searching Amazon looking for something like the "EverSharp" pencil I had loved for years. (Still don't know what became of it.) Anyhow, my new pencil writes very nice and clearly with the included lead supply. I wanted one that would rotate up in the barrel, but apparently they are not available any longer. So this one clicks the lead up, but in smaller increments so the lead doesn't break off from being too long. It feels good in my fingers, just the right diameter for me. This pen is available with thick to thin lead sizes. I ordered the pencil that takes 0.7 mm lead and it's just right. I am happy I can stop struggling with wood pencils again!

PROS:This mechanic pencil looks really nice and professional.Writes smooth as butter.Doesn’t break if pressing to write.Barrel is made well and sturdy. (A bit too thick and heavy for me bc I’m used to cheap skinny plastic paper-mate mechanical pencils , but I’m going to use it until I get use to it. So that’s no big deal.) Still, it’s a great mechanical pencil for the affordable price.CONS:No instructions on how to use this pencil. I’m a first time user of refillable pencils. So that would have helped. I had to hunt for instruction within Amazon reviews. I found info and figured it out.Also, it is MISSING the famous Mr.Pen Mustache LOGO on the pencil itself which kinda sucks. I love that logo! I’m not liking the corporate MP branding at all. Thank goodness you can barely see it. So it loses one star for those two personal cons.OVERALL:HIGHLY recommend this mechanical pencil even if it doesn’t have their original cool Mr Pen logo on it. Too bad. But the product itself is great and affordable. Plus, their customer service is rock solid!!!
