I purchased this December 31st, but did not put it up until a month ago, so the return window has closed. I arrived home this evening to the solar plate laying on the ground broken and unable to fix. I tried to get in touch with the seller as it states in the description, but there's no contact info and only brings me to Amazon customer service.

Charges my ring doorbell with only a few hours of direct sunlight. Very easy to install

No more charging the battery. The instructions included are easy to read. The mount is easy to install and has many different adjustments for almost any angle needed for the solar panel.

The panel seems to be good quality, and the ~13' cable is nice. I also like how there is a mounting sticker. Place the sticker where you want the holes to be and it holds in place while you drill the holes. Super handy.A few things to be aware of:The instructions don't show any information on how to connect the two terminals on the end of the solar power cable to the two screws on the back of the Ring doorbell. When you get your Ring off the wall, you'll see two screws on the back with no markings near them regarding polarity. The lack of information in the instructions and the lack of marking on the Ring resulted in me taking a bit of time to watch videos on how to connect the two, so I don't damage the electronics. Most videos had a single connector that could only be connected to the Ring's two screws one way, also with no markings. They weren't too helpful.That said, for the videos I watched where there was some indication of polarity when looking at the two screws on the back of the Ring, the left screw always seemed to be positive and the right negative. So that is what I used, and so far, it hasn't fried.I put this outside on a partly sunny day in December here in the north, and it measured a stable 5.01V but no significant watts. I'll try again on a less overcast day, but this is consistent with what I would expect on a day like today. I have a pretty good feel of how long my battery lasts in the Ring and I'll update if this doesn't help extend that a reasonable amount.
