Really like the look of the product, however when I went to install one of the brass female fittings was not tapped properly and I can't install it. I am in the process of trying to return it and it was purchased several weeks ago. Hopefully I can return it. I am disappointed in being charged $25.00 for damages to the filter system. I am being charged for a FACTORY DEFECT that I did nothing, repeat nothing to cause. The package was damaged in shipment, have pictures, however this did not cause the damage that I am being charged for. If I need to show the pictures, let me know and I will send them to you. Once you get the package, inspect the threads on the inlet side and you will see the FACTORY DEFECT.Chester J. CraigCan I get a final review of the damage deduction that I was charged? I did not damage the item but am being charged for it. I submitted pictures and never got a response

Very sturdy and good quality! The guages even had thread tape already on them! Works as it should, I think it was worth the money and would buy again/ recommend 👌 👍

The sediment filter has a top and a bottom orientation but was not labeled at all. Water will not flow to the carbon filter chamber if the sediment filter is upside down. Once I figured that out, the rest was not an issue. The 1" mnpt I used was cast iron. The PVC fittings kept cross threading. I took the 1" to 1 1/4" PVC. Make sure to use plenty of pipe fitting tape. One of mine leaked a drop every 2 minutes.....enough to make me mad and cut the pipe and fix it. You can see the coupler on the right hand side pipe. worked pretty well for a novice. Hoping the water results are worth the 6 hours to put it in.Update: 02-11-25 Turns out the leak was part of a broken inlet connector inside the filter. I have asked the seller to compensate me for the time and materials lost on the return and replacement of this filter. I have not heard from them at all.
