Just got it today, plugged it in and it started to get warm, so I assume it works. The insty are really lacking, more realistic are non-existent. I tried to figure out how to change out the pot in case I wish to use the spare pot couldn't figure it out. Before I use it, I'm going to check for the loose ground wire everyone is talking about. I have it a 3 because of the lack of instructions and I haven't used it yet. I will update this review after use.

Great solder pot. Takes a bit to heat up but is very consistent and works well. Includes an extra pot which is nice. Built well and easy to use. Size is great for my bench and not too large.

Its a solder pot. Works well. Watch how you dress the cord so you don't catch and spill it. Have a tin can nearby for dross and a fan to pull fumes away. Cheap and good as it is, with extra cup and dross spatula, just buy already. Nothing to be on the fence about.

It does the job. Instructions are poorly translated but it's pretty self explanatory so it's okay.I docked a star because it started smoking the first time I plugged it in. I was unable to find the source but it hasn't caused any further issues or smoked again so it's alright.Definitely keep an eye on it while it's plugged in though, don't leave it unattended.Make sure to check that all the wires are properly connected and the ground screw is tightened

Warned by other reviewers, I opened the bottom to check the workmanship and found the ground screw stripped and making poor contact; I replaced the screw with a small bolt and nut and now its grounded properly checked with DMM.The 2 inch dia. pot seems like it will work well for fractional ounce sinkers. I checked it out and it smoked a bit at first but seems OK and melted scrap lead just fine. Given the quality I'd keep an eye on it when in use.For the price it seems a decent buy.
