Bought this last year, and used it a fair bit. This thing has a tough metal shell, and it feels nice and solid in your hands. The wheel is also metal, and the buttons feel clicky. It's got a great feel in the hand.The software however leaves much to be desired.I'll start with the pros:-The sound that comes from it is as great as the speaker you run it through!~-It's pretty easy to navigate-It looks nice-The now playing interface especially is nice!-It enters a sleep mode pretty quickly where it's just playing music with the screen off, so doesn't waste power when you're not handling it-It has a button lock switch that prevents the buttons from doing anything in your pocket!-Pretty tough. Was bouncing around in my bag for a year and it doesn't have a scratch on it. I never dropped it on hard ground though, so your mileage may vary.-Good battery lifeAnd the cons:-The software is preeeetty slow. When you turn it on, it takes like 15-30 seconds to start up. If you want to connect a bluetooth device, it takes a while to load up that screen, if you want to try to make a playlist, you're stuck loading. I wouldn't mind it taking a bit if I hadn't used cheaper MP3 players that start up and start playing nearly instantly.-If you use a bluetooth device to listen to it, you have to manually go to the bluetooth option every time you start the device up to get it to connect. You do not have to pair again, but it feels like the device should remember your bluetooth setting.-Making new playlists seems to just entirely not work. When you pick that option, it opens up all music, and selecting any song just results in the song playing, rather than being added to the playlist. You can get around this by just organizing your files into folders. You can play all the music in a folder, so, while playlists seem to not work, there is a workaround.-When the device is sleeping, it takes multiple button presses to affect the playing selection. Like, if you want to pause, you press the pause button. This wakes the device up. Then you have to press pause again to have it actually pause. The device sleeps very quickly! So, it's annoying if you're not actively looking at it. Considering that it has a lock switch, it feels like the device should pay attention to what buttons get pushed even while it's sleeping if that switch is disengaged.-Some options have some long, slow animations that will play before it actually does the thing, like, toggling the lock switch plays a long animation of a lock locking or unlocking, and while it is playing an animation, no button does anything.-There isn't a quick and easy way back to the now playing screen, if you are on any other screen. So, if you are like me, and have organized your files into folders to get around playlists not working, playing music from a folder is a different selection than where the now playing button is. so, if you want to return to it from there, you have to go back to the main menu, scroll over and select the player, then select the now playing option. This wouldn't be a problem, except that you can only control the music from the now playing screen.So, in summary, this MP3 player LOOKS great, is decently rugged, and it is perfectly functional, but the software it is running feels pretty dated and has some obvious ways that it could be improved that make it annoying to use on a regular basis. If you want a tough, cool looking gadget, that's what this is. There are better MP3 players for cheaper on the market though, so I don't really recommend it if you're just looking for a nice MP3 player.

Very handy little mp3 player.

It has a super long battery life, decent sound quality, and it's cute that it can have pictures even if they are tiny and grainy. Very much worth getting if you want an off internet mp3 player.

It has a horrible and slow UI which takes long to maneuver through the options. It can play a decent amount of audio formats but the 64GB SD card that came with it is actually a 2GB card that formats over and over untill it resets back to 2GB. It was a waste of both time and money.

I use an MP3 player for workouts. I've gone through quite a few. You spend about 30 dollars and get a really cheap music player. If you want a nicer one you have to spend well over 100 dollars. This is a much nicer one. The music quality is a real step up. The menus and display are sharp and responsive. Everything about this player works well and seems sturdy and well constructed. If I wasn't impressed I would be writing this. This is a good compromise between value and quality.
