I like this thermometer so much better than the digital thermometers on the market these days. I find it much easier to use.We've had this thermometer at home for years, and we use it all the time. Because I rely on it so much, I had to order a second thermometer to use at our lake cabin.ACCURACYThe thermometer is very accurate. I've tested it against two digital thermometers we have (and no longer use), and it reads the same as the digital thermometers.FUNCTIONThe digital thermometers we have always seem to need a new battery - and of course, I don't always have the right kind of battery on hand. It's frustrating when this happens and you need to know the temperature of something you're cooking. I finally gave up on the digital thermometers and will just stick to this one - no batteries required.I also like the size of this thermometer, compared to the digital ones we have (had). It's easier to store in a drawer.I am very happy with the quality, accuracy, and durability of this thermometer. I definitely recommend it!

I recently tried out the Rubbermaid Commercial Products Food/Meat Instant Read Thermometer, and here’s my take on it:Accuracy and Speed: The thermometer provides reasonably accurate readings, but it’s not the fastest. It takes a bit longer to register the temperature compared to some digital thermometers. However, it’s still reliable for everyday cooking.Dishwasher Safe: One of the standout features is that it’s dishwasher safe. After measuring the temperature, I can toss it in the dishwasher without worry. No fuss, no hassle.Pocket Size: The compact design makes it easy to carry around. I keep it in my kitchen drawer, and it doesn’t take up much space.Surface Area Requirement: It’s worth noting that this thermometer seems to need a decent amount of surface area covered to get an accurate read. Tengo menos de un año que lo compre y ya no me funciona , es de buena marca y fácil de usar pero ya no me funciono .

It can be adjusted which I did. All metal so no glass to break. The top is quite small and could be difficult to read.

Love it. It is quick and accurate would buy it again. And it is small does not take up much cupboard space.
