Create Working Electronic Circuits
Snap Circuits comes with over 55 pieces to create 175 different electronic projects. The pieces include snap wires, a color changing LED, Glow-in-the-dark propeller, infrared receiver, strobe IC and much, much more. They all snap together easily on the included plastic grid -- no soldering required. Each piece is numbered and color-coded to make identifying them easy. These components combine to create working circuit boards just like the ones found inside televisions, radios, and other electronic devices.
Grow as You Go
Because the projects are arranged in order of complexity, kids can build on their skills as they progress through the manual. The lessons start out with a simple LED light and switch project that demonstrates how electricity is turned on and off with a switch. Other projects include: Infrared Detector, Stobe Light with spinning patterns, Color Changing LED, Glow-in-the-Dark Flying Fan, Strobe integrated circuit (IC), Fiber Optic communication,
Color organ controlled by iPod or other MP3 Player and many more.

Combine Your Kits and Design Your Own Circuits
Once children have mastered several of the techniques introduced in this kit, they can use the components to experiment and create their own customized circuits and electronic devices. The Snap Circuits Light Snap Modules can be combined with parts from other Snap Circuits kits that'll take their kit - - and their fun - - to the next level.
Snap Circuits Light requires four AA batteries, not included.

This such a cool toy. A coworker recommended checking out snap circuits for my 6year old almost 7. I think he’s a little too young to do it by himself but it’s great family time. We randomly open a page and try and build it. It’s pretty easy to use overall and there are loads of builds to try.

Bought it for my 13 year old for his birthday. He loves it and plays with it nonstop. Great gift, highly recommend.

I bought this for my nephew's 7th birthday. Whilst the kit says 8+ the nephew is very ahead in this area academically and into science and engineering so I got him this (to use with some initial supervision). The build quality of the kit is superb, there are some really lovely touches (for example a flying spinner that's part of the kit is glow in the dark). The projects in the booklet are well described and easy to assemble, and the building blocks are designed in a way that it makes it easy to assemble the projects. There are also some very well thought out and engaging explanations as to what is going on within the projects. My nephew loves it - a really great educational toy especially for Lego enthusiasts who like building things

Es un juguete que despierta las ganas de crear de los niños, tiene experimentos muy complejos y otros muy simples y aprenden un montón sobre el funcionamiento de la electricidad, lo recomiendo para todos esos pequeños que buscas crear, pues es un acercamiento seguro a los dispositivos eléctricos

El juego le encantó de maravilla a mi hijo de 6 años, muy practico y se entretiene bastante tiempo con el, solo le ayude en dos ocasiones y después el armo los demás circuitos, un juego didáctico muy bueno
