Even with the provided shims did not fit my seat post (a Roval Alpinist). Shims were either not thick enough or too thick. so can't comment on how it works. My seat post isn't an unusual diameter (at least I don't believe so) not sure why it doesn't fit. I ended up buying the Garmin-made mount (basically the same but of course costs more because...Garmin) and it fit nicely. Since I only paid $11 for this one it's not even worth walking to the UPS store to return, so it's going into my "bike parts to sell/give away" box. Oh well.

Well worth the price. Holds my Garmin varia solid. No flooping around and bonus, mounted directly to my Ti. Frames seat tube. No grommets necessary. I’ll be ordering 2 more for other bikes.

For the price I paid I didn’t expect the quality received. The fitment with rubber shims makes me much more comfortable with a $200 bike light/ radar hanging off the back

Easy to install, works as advertised, and it's the best rear mounting solution for the Garmin Varia radar. The mount is snug and secure on my 2023 Trek Emonda SLR. Needless to say, my Garmin Varia won't be going anywhere. The best part about buying this mount from Amazon is the low price. I crossed shopped this Varia mount with six other websites and Amazon beat all of them with an easy price of $11, free shipping included. Very satisfied and would buy again if I had to.

This is a very good product for attaching Garmin compatible tail lights on your bike seat post. I like that angled, so that when you attach it to the seat post (which is on a 70° angle ) your light beam will shine straight behind you, not angled towards the road. Only minor complaint is that it’s made of metal and is (maybe) an ounce heavier than it needs to be
