Ordered this for my hardtail emtb. Was planning to try some trails on my hardtail ebike that had mostly been used on paved ways. I've tried a suspension post on my trail hardtail before and while not the same as full suspension does make the ride more comfortable and helps on descents if you don't have a dropper and just lower the seat as I do (just in case you hit hard and accidentally fall back on the seat). This one is pretty nicely made and seems more premium than my other basic one. Relatively light with markings for seat adjustment forward and back and easy 2 bolts to secure tilt and placement. Also nice textured post with measurement markings there too making it easier to set height. Comes with the Allen keys both to attach seat but also to adjust preload on suspension (on bottom , no rebound adjustment). Pretty impressed and exactly what I was looking for. Will update later if any issues arise with use.

These are just my first impressions. I plan to install on my eBike, and we have 6" snow where I am. I'll update this review when I get it installed and can ride it.This is CRAZY cheap for a suspension seat post. I'm a cyclist and figured I had nothing to lose by trying it. The brown box it came in is about as basic as it can get. The box contained ONLY the post with ZERO documentation, so minus 1 star. You'll want to print the info on Amazon (so you can keep it) if you aren't familiar with installing a seat post. It seems to be made of decent aluminum and both the bottom barrel adjustment and top seal seem well designed. I thought it felt a little heavy; that's to be expected given the huge steel spring in it. I weighed it, and SURPRISE -- it's actually lighter than the PNW suspension dropper on my gravel bike. I did not expect that. Now, the PNW is also a dropper post, but still ... this post costs a FRACTION of the PNW.If you're a hardcore mountain or gravel biker I would invest in a name brand like PNW. If you're looking for something for a beach cruiser or eBike, then this one is worth trying. We'll see if it lasts over time.
