I've used this dog bowl for several weeks now. And where I live has been covered wilth snow and ice. This has done the trick!The only cons that I can see about it are that it has been attractive to our chickens! Haha! Also, if you don't fill the bowl with water and just leave it sitting there, it will get a mark from the hard water. Sometimes my son will use a different pool to fill because this one is so large and it takes about a liter or two of water.I have kept this outside for weeks, and the only inconvenient part is having to wash it out! But that's just the necessity of taking care of animals! But few of us enjoy going outside and such freezing weather!We love that it had stickers to write our doggie's name! I will attach photos in a few days. We love this product, and I think you will too!

I got this water bowl for the cats and critters that roam our neighborhood. During the winter here it is sometimes hard to find a water source that is not frozen. This offers at least an option for them. Works well. Holds a good amount of water. I gave a 4 star only because when the water gets lower the water gets a little warmer than I would like it for an animal. I am also overprotective so.... I usually end up just adding more water to it or unplugging it all together. I would still recommend.

This heated pet bowl arrived just as shown and described in the product listing. The materials and build of this bowl is very good, and the cord does seem sturdy enough to keep away critters outside from chewing on it. Once plugged in, the water bowl begins to heat instantly, and because there are no controllers or other setup needed, this is definitely easy to use. The size is generous and works well for my 2 pets. There is no need to worry about leakage as this bowl is a solid piece of plastic. Only time will tell how long the plastic holds up outdoors during the winter, but I am sure it will outlive it's heating element. I live in the Northern Midwest, and most of this year has been frigid temperatures outside during the day and night. This bowl has handled these temperatures without issue. Overall I am very pleased with this bowl and recommend it for buyers interested in outdoor heated water bowls.

I have nothing but good things to say about this heated water bowl for outdoor pets! It's such a pretty turquoise too. I like that it is lower & wider than our previous one. A couple of the kitties like to sit right next to it on bitter cold days. The cord is very heavily protected as shown, & over 6 foot long. Today the temp is 24 degrees, and the water is 76 degrees - (in the sun). We top it off daily to be sure there is always fresh water available. We unplug it and bring it in to wash it as needed & refill. Very pleased with this product.
