Great equipment rack. No assembly needed, easy to install and all the stews are provided. Perfect size, pretty lightweight. Very functional and great value.

I like this as a solution for mounting small servers and similar, but the joints are a bit flimsy. I haven't had any actual issues as a result of this but it's not hard to imagine a server being too front heavy for those joints.

I hardwired a bunch of network ports in our house a number of years ago and I'm finally going to terminate them all into patch panels this winter, so I needed a smaller network rack to hold the patch panels and network switch. Most of the network racks you can find are larger than I needed, so I was happy to find this 4U rack.This rack is pretty much ready to go right out of the box. The sides are permanently hinged to the back, so you just unfold the sides and mount this to the wall and you're ready to go. The rack is made from a pretty substantial gauge steel, so it doesn't feel flimsy in the least bit. It's nice that they included the cage nuts and screws needed to mount four rack devices to the rack, as well as four mounting screws for attaching this to the wall. The mounting holes on the back of the rack are spaced 16" on center, so they will line up perfectly with wall studs (though if the studs aren't in the right place for your install, you'll need to provide the wall anchors).As it turns out, this is a 4U rack that can also be turned to face downwards to turn it into a 7U shallow rack. This is perfect for my application because I don't need a lot of rack depth given it's just patch panels that will be mounted in this and that way it won't protrude as much into the space.I give this two thumbs up for a basic, but well-built network rack suitable for a home install or small office setup.
