Had some fabric covers on a few West facing handles at work. Those have aged off. Trying these this summer.Adds a nice little bit of whimsy to life.It did cover the lock cylinder (electric door lock, so that is only a backup)Measure and compare first. There are a lot of handle sizes and shapes. This has a limited range of what it fits.

I got these for my son to make his boring door more interesting, and they are so cute. They were easy to slip on and fit well, and he's had no issues using the door. They really made it look more kid friendly, and I love how well made and high quality they feel.

The silicone these are made from is nice and thick; it's semi-rigid and seems durable, as opposed to some cheap-o handle covers that are made with that sticky, soft silicone that you might find in dollar-store toys. No major issues with absorbing stains or anything so far, either. The doorknobs I have these on are slightly thinner than what I think are "standard", so there is a slight amount of play for me, but the silicone is sturdy enough that it is not really any inconvenience; they still work fine for my purposes, and I sort of like the distant, blank stare of the birds' beady little eyes. 4 stars from me.

We got this for an odd reason--as a deterrent for our Husky mix dog who likes to open doors. We put this on the two door handles he likes to push on to open and because he's quirky, he doesn't like the handles are different and he's stop trying to open the doors. These go on both curved handles and straight handles and they slip on easily and stay on well. I am sure that through cold and hot weather, it'll block out extreme temperatures on metal handles. They're cute, but you don't really notice the bird design once it's on the handle since the profile of the bird faces up and down.
