This Waveshare RP2350-One development board is a clever and compact platform for projects that require the power of the RP2350A microcontroller. The integrated PCB Type-A plug allows for direct connection to a computer's USB port, eliminating the need for extra cables and making it incredibly portable. The dual-core and dual-architecture design provides excellent performance, and the 4MB of flash memory offers ample storage for code. I've found it to be a versatile and convenient board for exploring the capabilities of the RP2350.

Really interesting RP2350 board by Waveshare. I've been using a lot of Waveshare products over the past year and the build quality is great quality as usual. The documentation is decent for this board although it stops a little short of holding your hand the full way through a demo. Still it should be enough to get you most of the way there and if you've used on of these Pico dev boards before you should have no problem.The form factor of this board is what makes it pretty unique over other offerings. It's basically the size of a USB-A flash drive but with the power of a full on RP2350 chip. Given that the RP2350 has hardware security built in, the USB form factor makes it possible to do cool things like create your own Fido key with these.The GPIO pins have both through hold and castellated edges which is nice for options should you decide to solder on any pins or surface mount the board to a larger project. The board itself provides up to 29 GPIO pins although only 20 are accessible with the pin headers. The remaining 9 are pads on the back of the device which require some creative soldering.There are a few tradeoffs which might be obvious but are worth calling out. There is no built in WiFi or Bluetooth chips. It probably expected given the small form factor of this board but worth noting. The built in USB-A is convenient but limits the board to USB 1.1. The flat form factor means it doesn't sit very tightly when connected to a USB-A port. They include two stickers you can use to help make the board the fit more snug, although it's not clear how or where to attach them and there are no instructions. There are few 3D printable cases out there if you have a 3D printer which helps mitigate the issue.These are all small and obvious drawbacks. At the end of day this much compute power in a form factor the size of a about a piece of chocolate opens up tons of interesting options. For the price, this is an incredible little piece of hardware and that it includes things like built in hardware security it could be used to create a Fido hardware key for about a third of the price. Really cool stuff.

As always, Waveshare delivers a solid product to work with.Documentation is in the usual WaveShare fashion, not too much, but just enough to get you going.Craftsmanship is good: no misaligned parts and good soldering points.The "usb-stick" format gives way for different yet interesting projects.Support on MicroPython is already there so, in just a couple of minutes I was able to make a simple mouse jiggler.
