YoLink, de YoSmart (una corporación estadounidense con sede en Irvine, California), es una línea de productos inteligentes para uso residencial y comercial, utilizando tecnología inalámbrica originalmente diseñada para aplicaciones industriales y otras aplicaciones a gran escala, multisitio.
Esta tecnología, LoRa, abreviada para largo alcance, es única para la industria del hogar inteligente y te proporciona beneficios que incluyen una larga duración de la batería (típicamente entre 2 y 5 años) de largo alcance (¼ de millas de aire abierto), y una penetración superior de pared y obstrucción, incluyendo hormigón, mampostería y metal.
Los beneficios de YoLink incluyen la no dependencia de WiFi, ya que los dispositivos no se conectan ni utilizan su WiFi, sino que se comunican con el Hub, lo que también hace que ellos y su red sean más seguros. As mentioned in my review of the YoLink Hub, we have a standby generator which starts and transfers automatically in the event of a power failure. Unfortunately the App for the generator doesn't alarm or provide push notification when a power failure occurs and/or when the generator is running. We needed to know the status of both the electricity supply and generator status at all time so that's where the YoLink Hub and Power Failure Module came in real handy. Pairing the power failure module with the hub was a breeze and the App connected to the Hub and Module effortlessly. The one thing I liked about the App and this may not matter to those that have a newer phone is that the App only requires Android 5 and up and since I have an older phone it installs and works great. A lot of App today require a much higher OS and don't work on my phone so this was an issue for me. So the Power Failure module is plugged into an outlet and immediately notifies me if the power should go out and when the generator takes over. That's a winning combination!

Realmente cumple con su funcion, y en esta nueva version de la app, esta la posibilidad de poder silenciarlo cuando se va la luz lo cual es realmente gratificante ya que anteriormente no estaba disponible.El unico detalle es que necesita un hub para que te avise cuando se va la luz, esa seria su unica desventaja y hasta parecer ser que lo hicieron a proposito para comprar esta funcion por separado.

This appears to be the only hardware and software that tells you when the power is out. This should work great for our cottage.

I have been looking for a power failure detection system for awhile and there are not too many available. I had installed the YoLink temperature sensors in my several refrigerators/freezers after having one of the machines fail while I was out of town and no one noticed for about a week. When I saw that YoLink also has a power failure alarm I jumped on it due to price and ease of installation. I have not had a failure yet but when testing it worked well so I am pretty confident it will work when I need it. Note you do need a YoLink hub to use this, but one hub covers all their various sensors and the hub is not that expensive. YoLink does not conform to the various automation systems like Z-Wave, Zigbee, SmartThings, Matter, etc, but unlike some of the above YoLink sets up easy and works very well with excellent battery life in the sensors and has excellent signal strength so sensors can be installed some distance from the hub and inside steel boxes and still function. You can connect it to Alexis, Google and others but I have not done this yet.

This is the third type of YoLink sensor I have purchased (I already have multiple digital temperature sensors and water leak detectors). They consistently have a GREAT design, from an aesthetic standpoint, user experience, and functionality.The power outage sensor took only minutes to install and configure, and makes use of their standard app (it's just another device among the many I have already). It is very flexible, and provided the features and configurability (e.g. ability to turn off local audio alerts, and rely only on smart phone notifications) that I was hoping for.I highly recommend YoLink sensor products. They are well designed and at a great price.

This product is a detector of electrical power outages. Not sure why I was asked about motion detection.It paired easily with my existing Yo Link hub, and installed easily with the app on my phone.I chose settings suitable to my environment and tested it twice. So far it is operating fine.
