I'm using this on a Jack Rabbit ebike/scooter. This replaced a standard seatpost. It has made so much difference in the ride. Before every seam or bump translated right up into the seat, now it rides much smoother. This post doesn't increase the weight of the bike like many flexible seatposts. Since this is a very light bike, I wanted a light seat post that is easy to remove when folding the bike. It is relatively easy to install, if you can find extra hands it will go even faster. Once it is adjusted for your bike it is as easy to remove as a normal seatpost. There are markings on the post so it is easy to reinsert it to the same position every time.

I'm at a lose. This product is great, my bike is non-standard!I couldn't get the 30.9mm, the seat post that was already with the bike was too tight for it, and when with the quick release loose, it scared the post. I've had to over tighten the quick release to get it to hold this seat post, and it still moves if you try to.I love this otherwise, this is a 24" x 4.0 fat tire bike with no suspension, and this does help a lot! This is a great product, but if your current post is slightly larger than either of these three sizes, you are really going to have to crank on it to tighten it.This isn't an issue with this product, it's with bike manufacturers. There are 4 common sizes, and 1 size starting to get space. 25.4mm on BMX, 27.2mm most common, 30.9 mountain bikes, 31.6mm, and (34.9mm Emerging). The three sizes available are standard sizes. My 28.62mm bike post is not a standard size.If you have to deal with a situation like mine, having a non-standard bike size, you might have to remove the quick release bolt, and use a normal one you can use a wrench or socket to get tighter!

This is a suspension seatpost for a bicycle. Install was easy. Basically you just loosen the seatpost clamp, remove the old seatpost, insert this seatpost and tighten the clamp. Then you need to put a seat on. This seatpost uses a micro adjustment to set the seatpost angle by tightening and loosening two screws. It works well to set the angle exactly how you want it. With other seatposts is hard to get the angle you want. It seems that it's always a little too much nose up or nose down. The seatpost features a suspension spring inside to smooth out the bumps. It works similar to other suspension seatposts that I've used. The ride is definitely more comfortable than with a non-suspension seatpost.Quality is fine and the price is reasonable.

The idea sounds good: add some rear suspension to a bike without any. My experience was not that good.I installed it on a mountain/hybrid bike - maybe it would be better suited to a road bike with high pressure tires that don't take bumps well.Removing the original alloy post, I tried fitting the new one. It was even hard to get started, let alone all the way into position. I was afraid of forcing it (then being unable to remove it).I used a file to lightly bevel the bottom edge. Used some spray lubricant, too (wouldn't use grease for this). The instructions say to turn in the bottom screw if you're over 90 kilos (I'm about 200 lbs). I turned it in. Then tried it.No movement of the piston riding over potholes, etc.Tried backing it out flush: no improvement. The instructions say DON'T back it out beyond flush - but that was the only way I could get any suspension - and it was hardly noticeable.Just use a gel saddle is saddle is my advice. Save the time and effort.Caveat: there are so many different kinds of bikes and riders that individual experiences are bound to differ. The 2-Star rating reflects mine. Everything looked like a quality part - it just didn't work for me.

I used this seat post to replace the rigid one that came with my Small Town E-bike. Strangely, the original seat post is marked as 30.8mm (non-standard), but this 30.9mm post fit perfectly without any issues. I immediately prefer this seat post over the original one. For one, a shock-absorbing seat post is far more comfortable than a rigid one, this was my main reason for replacing the original post. This seat post also offers much more seat adjustability in terms of the angle. My seat always felt like it was tilted a bit too far forward, even with full adjustment to the rear. This new post provides much more adjustability and I was able to position my seat for a much more comfortable ride.Overall the most is well made, easy to install, and easy to mount a standard seat. I am pleased with this item and recommend it as a quick easy upgrade!
