I annoyingly just purchased a new microwave with a horrible cool tone lighting.. my overhead lighting is a warmer light at 3000k. After some creative problem solving and online digging.. I read some other reviews for this product where people used an orange light gel to place over the light plate to warm the blue tones to more of a white one. I definitely got way more sheets than I needed, but this really let me mix and match the combo that worked best for me. I found it helpful to lay my cuttings from the gels on a white piece of paper (b/c there’s three different types, though similar in appearance) I placed the lightest gel closest to the light and a medium one behind it (farthest from the light..) and voilà! It’s not 100% perfect, but I can live with 90/95% perfect… and was SUCH an improvement. Definitely a good value and was easy to cut and fit my microwave light plates perfectly

Colour correction gels, aside from use in photography/videography, are great for getting rid of the terrible blue glare from LED lights with a colour temperature of 5,500 Kelvin or higher. You will find that returning the colour temperature to between 3,200 and 3,600 Kelvin will make a light much more pleasant for reading and general purpose lighting.

As a couple other reviewers have mentioned, these gels are perfect for warming up the light temperature of the horrible white LEDs under a wall-mounted microwave (in my case, a Panasonic). One dark and one medium gel, cut to size, worked perfectly for me.

We bought a new exhaust hood for our kitchen stove and did not like the LED lights that came with the range hood. The light was the typical harsh white (almost blue) light. We wanted a warm white light and could not find replacement light fixtures in a warm white color so we decided to use a lighting gel to achieve the warm white effect. We used 1 of the dark filters and 1 of the medium filters to produce a warm white effect and it worked perfectly.
