This is an excellent, very sturdy mortar and pestle set. It is a lot heavier than I thought it would be, which actually makes it easier to use without it slipping. It's also a great size and actually a little larger than I needed, so that is an unexpected bonus. The pestle itself is very comfortable in the hand. I use it mostly to turn herbs into powder or powders into finer powders and it does the job perfectly. I've had it for a few months now and have found it easy to clean and so far it has no chips. Great value for money.

Very well made and a good size. Heavy durable stone with carefully cut striations on the pestle make for easy grinding of herbs and spices. Whole cloves break down with ease and the heavy weight of the pestle really helps with overall functionality.

I bought this bow to have a spare while I got my 'good' bow re-haired. It is fine. Balance, tension, strength and hair quality ( I got the black bow hair ) are all good. For the money... what's to not like?
